NOAA Radar and Alerts is a Live Wallpaperwhich displays live radar images for the US location of yourchoosing. When enabled, the NOAA Radar and Alerts wallpaper willdisplay live weather radar images obtained from the NOAA NationalWeather Service in your background. Just 'Enable Alerts' unders Settings andleave your wallpaper alone.A Compatibility Mode is now available which should help withsome devices that are experiencing the 'blank overlays' issue. Whencompatibility mode is on, the app will operate the same as it doeson low-memory device: Overlays are merged to conserve graphicsmemory and displayed on top of radar. Topographic overlay is notavailable. Overlays are cropped to 512 pixels high, leaving smalltop and bottom margins in the overlay.NOTE that past radar images may not always be available fromNOAA - Updates are dependent on the availability of an internetconnection and images published by NOAA.

Earthquakes & Tsunamis live wallpaperwhich displays live earthquake updates from the US GeologicalService (USGS). When enabled, the Earthquake Wallpaper will displayan Earthquake map and will optionally deliver Tsunami alertnotifications. Your wallpaper will display live earthquake locationand intensity maps obtained from the USGS website (http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/recenteqsww/).The wallpaper can be configured to display a loop of recent imagesor a single, most-recent, image. The download refresh rate isconfigurable.We've also added support for Tsunami Alerts. Choose which ofseveral regions (US West Coast/Alaska, Hawaii, Pacific Ocean,Indian Ocean, Caribbean) you want to receive alerts for.Notifications of alerts will appear in your status bar and detailsare available in the Alert History.
